The publication Other Spaces portrays 33 Berlin venues of the independent performing arts community. It tries to map the diversity and difference of these venues and at the same time gives them a center stage themselves! To celebrate this in a fitting way, we warmly invite you to join us on the occasion of this year's publication by Verlag Theater der Zeit:

Audio Tour of the Performance Venues

Last year, Berlin's independent venues and theaters have been closed almost continuously. The Audio Tour of the Performance Venues gives an insight into what it feels like to work behind closed doors.

The individual contributions that make up the tour can be listened to directly on location at the performance venues, while walking between venues or at home.

Clear the stage for the newcomers!

Introducing...: Kristina Dreit, Karolina Dreit and Anna Trzpis-McLean, the paranormal φeer group, cmd+c and Eleganz aus Reflex! This year, these remarkable young artists will be presented by the Berlin Performing Arts Festival.

The selection was made together with the four cooperating venues Ballhaus Ost, HAU Hebbel am Ufer, Sophiensæle and TD Berlin from around 100 submissions.
