Music Theater/Performance
The way in which our society deals with crises is the topic of many music theater pieces. The core piece of this concert program is, alongside works by Ondřej Adámek and Thierry De Mey, The Glass House (1976) by Hans Wüthrich, written for six speakers, a soprano, percussion and tape recorder. Over the course of tracks, head, hand and body movements that are noted in detail, a new language based on research into power relationships is developed. The phonetic-physical performances are universal, understandable for international audiences and very current.
