Second Skin

People often say that our clothing is our second skin. Does it have a soul, too? Clothing is a part of being human, it is a cultural commodity. The fashion industry, however, is a greater polluter of the environment than the aviation and shipping industries combined. Inspired by the fast fashion discussion, Second Skin, a combination of a horror story, puppet theater piece and video documentation, takes a look at the problems with the production of clothing, as well as the desire and joy it brings.
